Skuza Home Cleaning Co. began during my college years, when I was studying Elementary Education and looking for a way to support myself while pursuing my degree. What started as a way to help pay for school slowly grew into something so much more meaningful than I ever expected.
I’ve now been cleaning for 5 years, and throughout those years, I’ve discovered just how much I truly love what I do. There is something incredibly rewarding about walking into a space that needs some extra care and leaving it feeling fresh, comfortable, and renewed. I love knowing that the work I do can make someone’s day a little easier and give them more time to focus on the people and things that matter most.
I’ve always considered myself a perfectionist, and I bring that part of myself into every home I care for. I notice the little things, pay attention to the details, and take pride in doing a job thoroughly. I don’t believe cleaning should simply mean making a home look presentable. I want every home I clean to feel genuinely cared for — from the floors and countertops to the little details that can easily be overlooked.
Although my original path was in education, building this business has taught me so much about people, hard work, dedication, and the importance of creating something of your own. I never imagined that a small opportunity I started while in college would turn into a business that I would be so proud of today.
One of my favorite parts of this business is the people. I’m so thankful for every client who has trusted me with their home, every person who has recommended my services, and every opportunity I’ve been given to help someone in my community. To me, cleaning is not just a service — it’s a way to help others. Whether I’m giving a busy family back a few hours of their week, helping someone prepare for a move, or simply giving someone the comfort of coming home to a clean space, I know that the work I do can make a real difference.
I’m incredibly grateful for how far this journey has taken me. What began as a way to support myself through college has become something I genuinely love and something I hope to continue growing for years to come.
Thank you for supporting my small business, trusting me with your home, and allowing me to do what I love. I am truly thankful for every person who has been a part of this journey and for every home I have the opportunity to care for.
